Azzana Virtual Accounts event in collaboration with ATEB
The Azzana event on virtual accounts, organised in collaboration with the ATEB (Belgian Association of Corporate Treasurers) was held on the 20th of October 2016. The event has gathered Corporate Treasurers and three leading banks who are already offering their clients advanced virtual accounts solutions.
Gathering and sharing knowledge
Our virtual account experts have helped treasurers in getting a good understanding of virtual accounts limitations and opportunities and have aligned disparate terminology used by banks. This was followed by the presentations of the banks on their current virtual accounts solutions offering.
An interactive workshop
The second part of the event was structured as an interactive round table session, with the ambition to provide the necessary level of knowledge to support the Corporate Treasurers in assessing why they (don’t) need virtual accounts.
The participants have exchanged their view on following questions:
- Where and how do you think virtual accounts can support your current treasury organisation?
- Which benefits do you expect from using virtual accounts?
- Which limitations can you identify from using virtual accounts?
- How do you view the effort and impact of integrating virtual accounts into your systems landscape?
Participant involvement, both on corporate and bank side, has provided a great opportunity for an interactive exchange.
